I-280 Construction
If
you travel to Cedar Point... listen up! I-280, an expressway (in northwest
Ohio) that starts at I-75 and continues several miles to the turnpike is
under major construction. Due to the building of a large, cable-suspended
bridge, numerous exits may be closed, along with lane closures.
THERE WILL
BE TIMES that I-280 is ENTIRELY closed. When this is the case,
we recommend taking I-75 to the Turnpike (I-75 and the turnpike meet
several miles south of Toledo). While it is roughly 10 minutes longer than
usual, it is the easiest detour to take.
Closed
entirely or not, we recommending leaving at least 15 minutes earlier.
