The story begins in 1998 when Cedar Fair, Cedar Point's parent company, bought Knott's Berry Farms in California. Now with Knott's in the chain of parks, Cedar Fair started to branch off Knott's idea of using the Peanuts gang in the park. In 1999, Cedar Point added Camp Snoopy, a children's area which is filled with Peanut gang surprises and rides. Jumping ahead to 2001, Cedar Point revealed it '02 plans - a wicked twisted roller coaster name Wicked Twister for those brave at heart and Snoopy Rocks! On Ice for families. Yet as much as the announced may have claimed it as a "family" show, Snoopy Rocks! is a show for all (kids, teens, young-adults, and everyone else make up the large crowd for the show).

THE SHOW:

The show takes place in the former Cedar Point Cinema, now which is called the "Good Time Theatre". Upon arrival, guests are moved into a holding, open-air, room, where good ole' songs such as YMCA are playing with some of the Peanuts gang Snoopy Rocks! present. Then its show time, doors open on the left, unveiling the main theater. Once seated in the main theater the show begins promptly. Instead of just plain old black side curtains, large pictures (a large amount of them) line the side and top of the stage. I not going to ruin the surprises of the show but the 30 min. show is sure bring back your favorite Peanuts memories. The show perfectly mixes many famous Peanuts scenes  (Snoopy flying the Red Baron to name one) with some rockin' new numbers. Joining the Peanuts gang is a slew of talented skaters that will dazzle you.

RATING: 5 out of 5 stars - a fun, non-stop, show that everyone, old and small, will enjoy!

TIP: Arrive to the show at least 15mins before scheduled times - the show fills up fast!
