FreeWay

*On Aug. 15th, 2005 the park announced the removal of the FreeWay program. It will NOT be in use for the remainder of the 2005 season. *

Just like almost every other park in the country, Cedar Point is now using a system to help you wait less. Instead of paying a price or carrying around different tickets - Freeway is free and easy to use. Currently Freeway is only being used on Millennium Force, Raptor, Mantis, Top Thrill Dragster and Wicked Twister.

1. Visit a Freeway kiosk near the entrance of Wicked Twister, Raptor or Millennium Force. Upon arriving at the kiosk you should note the time they are currently stamping for (the time is posted at hung above the counter). The
attendant at the kiosk will stamp your hand with a certain time period (i.e. 1-2 p.m.).

2. Have Fun! Once you have your hand stamped, enjoy the park.

3. During the time period stamped on your hand, go to the entrance of the ride you got stamped for. At the entrance a attendant will direct you to a special "Freeway Queue".

4. Once in the "Freeway Queue" you will be merged into the regular line at the entrance ramp to the station, at which time a attendant will stamp over the Freeway stamp with a Cedar Point stamp.

5. Sit up right, hold on tight and enjoy your ride! From the time you enter the "Freeway Queue" to you get on the ride is usually around 5-10 minutes.

Random Notes:

  • You may only use the Freeway system twice per day (though, once for Millennium Force and Top Thrill Dragster).

  • Your stamped time may be delayed or cancelled due to mechanical or weather issues.

  • Unlike similar system, Freeway merges you into the regular line BEFORE the station which allows you to have the same chance of getting your favorite seat.
